You need to verify that the starter is getting its B+ (constant battery voltage) on the large guage wire at the starter. Then while having someone attempting to crank verify you have battery voltage on the S terminal or small wire. If you have both of those then the starter is bad if you dont then you have a connection or control issue.

Just to be clear, are you saying you have everything hooked up but when you turn the key to start, you hear nothing? No clicks, no cranking, just silence?

It could be one of several things;
  • Bad starter
  • Bad ignition cylinder
  • Bad ignition switch (under the dash on top of the steering column)
  • Wire(s) on starter not attached correctly/firmly.
  • Neutral safety switch not hooked up or bad

I got it fixed the hot wire that run's from the positive side of the battery to the distribution block was missing. How many big hot wire's does your car have going to the starter.
