need help finding where a vac line goes...

I did some repairs myself and forgot where a vac line goes.
I dont know what its called But I can describe where its located at. I hope you guys can help... As you look at the front of the motor,to the left side next to the valve cover and the intake there is a plastic piece that slides up and down and has two vac hoses on it one I think goes to the throttle body and the other is the one that I dont know where it goes from there. It looks like it would travel under the front of the throttle bodyand goes to the drivers side some where but thats as far as I know

also if anyone has a good tip on removing water from a gas tank. I got some bad gas and I put heet in the tank but I was told that the water will sit at the bottom of the tank and it will take a while to remove it. Thanks for the help

Sounds like the EVAP canister purge line. Shoebox has a diagram of that system for the 96/97 models. Line #2 in the diagram is the 3rd line in the fuel line bundle:

Line 2 hooks to the purge solenoid (11) and the line returning to the canister that's buried in the fuel line loom tubing (3 lines head to the back of the car, fuel feed, fuel return, and canister).

Are you referring to item #15? See in the diagram where it says it is a vent and there is no connection?

Actually, there are 3 connections to #11. One in, one out and the vent.
