MSD pro billet distributor question

Has any one had a problem with these? If so did you change the cam shaft on the car also? I am trying to see if it might have something to do with the dowel postition being in the wrong place. Mine is newer and i am concerned it might go out so i would like to see what is causing them to rub.

Possibly, if your cam dowel pin is too long it may be placing too much presssure on the opti keyed hub and shaft. If the pin was in the wrong position, the egnine would not run. What cam are you running?

Did you swap your 94 to the dowel pin driven vented model?

I was told the cam was swapped but it is hard to say. I know it is nothing radical if it was done so i assume it was just to sell the car for more money. My new opti is vented where the old one wasn't. It all looked to be fine during install but i guess it would only take a tiny bit to ruin it. It took me forever to line it up but when it went on it was with zero effort so maybe it will be fine.
