Hard to tell you what plug gap to use, without knowing the details of the engine and modifications. The stock gap (0.050") works well with platinum (or iridium) plugs on a "stockish" engine. As HP/compression ratio/power adders go up, a slightly colder plug with a narrower gap makes sense. If you are using a non-platinum plug, take the gap a bit narrower as well, since non-platinum plugs will erode faster, opening up the gap.
I run 0.045" with a copper plug (Autolite 104) for non-nitrous operation. That's on an engine making 500HP at the flywheel without the nitrous.

Sorry about that..motor is .020 over,speed pro 4 valve releif pistons,scat 5.7 forged rods,LE2 Dart pro 1 heads,fel pro 1074 head gaskets,Ngk plugs,i also did the LTCC conversion.I was going to gap them at .045 and see how it ran..I am really pressed for time,I was invited to Milan Dragway this Sept 9,10,11..for tapings of Passtime..I have to get the car back to the tuner Wednesday morning.
