Hole in the fuel __nk!

Pulled the camaro out of storage and found a puddle of gas all over the floor. After inspection an obvious hole was found on the bottom of the tank. I have a new one on the way after some backordered parts come in. My question though is I only drive the car occasionaly (once every 3 months) and a couple of months to this leak, I found numerous particles in the fuel filter. Do I need to replace the fuel lines or is the tank all I need to do.

Might want to add some basic info, like the year of the car, model, engine, etc.

may only need to do the tank, the fuel filter should have stopped the particles, but remeber this...the dirt had to pass through the fuel pump to get to the fuel filter so i would check and make sure you dont have to replace that before you put it back together agian. might as well just do a new fuel pump while your at it.

Good idea about the fuel pump, that never would have crossed my mind! By the way this is on a 1969 camaro w/350, stock tank, stock fuel pump, stock lines, ect.

The fuel pump has a filter sock on it's inlet. Still a good idea to replace the pump and filter sock since the tank is being replaced.

I've always wanted to replace the stock mechanical pump with a Edelbrock or a Holley high performance mechanical fuel pump, but they would never fit.
