Question Going from 255lph to 190lph fuel pump?

My Ebay 255lph fuel pump died out in a little more than a year. Before that, I had a Walboro 255 that died. I've added 1.6 RRs since my last few deaths. I would put my HP at between 400-350. Will a 190lph be fine, cuz there's a guy in town that sells em for $130. I could never tell a performance gain anyways.

If your not experiencing fuel pressure drops with a 190 lph fuel pump, then a 255 lph pump isn't going to gain you any performance.

I would stay with a 255 lph pump to give you room to grow in the future. You can replace your 255 lph pump with a Walbro for less than $130.

If your new pumps keep dying, I would start to wonder. It is recommended that you flush/clean your fuel tank before installing a higher flowing pump. Did you do so? If not, that could lead to a possible premature failure of the pump.
