GM Fuel Pump Manufacturer?

Hey fellow motorheads................Does anyone know what manufacturer GM used for fuel pumps in their 1997 Camaro(5.7L)???????? Is it Delphi? I want to replace the burnt pump in my SS with an OEM part.

Also, it seems that GM recommends replacing the entire unit(Sending unit, Pump, Float etc.). Anyone agree?

Does anyone else find it amusing that GM charges nearly 35% more on many of their parts than other suppliers of the same equipment? This old recipe isn't going to attract patrons to their new business model cookout.

Thanks in advance gentlemen(and ladies).

Should be Delphi. I bought mine from Rock Auto, but you'll pay out the *** for it. I'd recommend a Racetronix kit instead, heard lots of good things about them. There's no need to replace the other parts unless they are bad.
