fueling problem hard start ect

ok goana try and make this quick...had trouble keeping over 30 psi fuel pressure in my car..95 z...changed filter, regulator, made sure no leaky injectors, then sprung for a new racetronix kit...got it installed it and right away 55 psi at prime and 48 or so when it started...car drives like a champ ect much more power......but now it hard starts bad...i hooked up a gauge and you can prime the pump and it shoots for 55 psi, once the pumps done priming it drops to 5 psi within 3 seconds...its not a leaking fuel line and its not a leaky injector i checked....so it has to be leaking on the feed line inside the tank right?

another problem i dont think is related...the evap line that goes into the tank..it appears to be braised from the factory...well from the previous owner and me removing the pump asembely over 10 times has broken its ""braising"" i tried to fix with torch and silver soldure but it didnt want to bond to the metal too well...this problem causes my tank to never hold any air pressure when i remove the cap unless the car is still running...

im thinking about getting a whole new bucket and pump asembely from the junkyard because my gas gauge also goes empty at about 1/4 of a tank...what do yall guys think about all this? my whole pump assembely is fubar

There's a check valve in the pump that holds the fuel pressure in the supply line. May have failed already. Or you may have a loose hose at the pump.

that sounds much more plausable...because it builds pressure and holds it so easily...guess i need to call thunderracing monday
