fuel PSI with SVO 30's?
all I know is they are SVO red tops 30lber's...I did a search and im thinking that most people with 30lb injectors are setting their fuel PSI to about 39 on the AFPR so not to run to rich. Im new to all this and just looking for some help. I dont want to have the problem of washing my rings out and fouling my plugs out or something like that.

The SVO's appear to be flow rated at 2.7bar (39.15psi). The F-Body multi-port fuel systems, prior to the LS1's, operate at 43.5psi. The SVO injectors will flow about 5.4% extra fuel, if you run them at 43.5psi. But all you have to do is burn the correct flow rating in your chip... not change the fuel pressure. If you run the 30# injector at the higher pressure, enter 31.62 #/HR as the flow rate.
what do you mean, at the higher pressure? I looked in my bin and I cant seem to find where the injector settings are. alls I found was "single fire FI size @40psig "which is set to 29.94 lbs/hr and "double fire FI size @ 40psig" which is set to 29.99 lbs/hr
does that mean that if my AFPR is set to 40psi that is the rating for the injectors? which is wrong?
My chip burner told me to set the fuel pressure to 41 and I can play with that if Im rich or lean but from reading some threads that doesnt seem to be the way to do it.
SHould I change the setting to what you have 31.62 and leave the AFPR at 41 psi?
sorry for all the questions but Im trying to figure this out.
thanks

By "higher pressure", I was referring to the 43.5psi standard. If someone has already burned the chip assuming 40psi, you have your answer on where your fuel pressure should be set. Just make sure there's not another entry in the file where it needs actual fuel pressure.
