Fuel line help

I need some help identifying what gets connected on the short nipple on the fuel sender? I searched everywhere and can't find a thing.http://rs37.pbsrc.com/albums/e90/jt1...ap.jpg~320x480

Re: Fuel line help

Ok thank you and sorry about that. I have a question I recently installed a new fuel pump cause I had to prime the pump at least 3 times for it to start after letting it sit for about 15 minutes or so. The new pump didn't help. Now I was checking the fuel pressure today and with the key on car off the Guage showed zero pressure primed it 3 times still same thing I turned on the car and Guage was reading 31 or 32 psi with vacuum and 40 or 42 without vacuum. As soon as I turned off the key the Guage read zero right away

Re: Fuel line help

Rapid pressure loss when the pump shuts off can be:

-faulty check valve in the pump (replacement should have eliminated that possibility)

-leaking fuel pressure regulator (check the vacuum compensation line for wet fuel)

-leaking injectors (pull up rails with injectors intact, turn key to "run" to pressure the system. Look for dripping injectors)

-leaking fuel lines, including the flex pump discharge line in the tank (loose, or developed small perforations)

Re: Fuel line help

Okay I found the culprit, it was the flex hose on the new pump, I added the old one to the new cause it didn't come with one, a new fuel injection hose and baym fixed. Thanks for the quick reply.
