Fuel gauge problem

my fuel gauge does not work properly, when i fill my car up the gauge goes past Full line on gauge, would that be my fuel tank sending unit or would it be the ground wire on the tank that is causing it due to maybe not connecting to the car right? i was thinking about taking the ground wire off and cleaning it up but i dont know where the ground wire would be? if you could help that would be great.

Re: Fuel gauge problem

Your gauge sounds normal for these cars.
