Post doing away with the fuel pressure reg.

I have been searching through the internet on a way to do away with my 93 lt1s fuel pressure regulater that is mounted on the fuel rail and instal a remote adjustable fuel pressure reg. Here it is. It goes into the hole where the old one is and it has threads on the other end. http://www.fuelsystemparts.com/itemdesc~CartId~{835F2C3D-9A01-438D-954EVEREST0-BB7C822D785F}~ic~001DSM6RET~eq~~Tp~.htmustable fuel pressure reg.

Are you asking a technical question, or possibly trying to do some unpaid advertising?

link didnt work, I looked around on the site and didint see any for an LT1 just DSM motors, eather way if you want to change 93 rails your better off cutting the ends off pulling the tubes out of the inside and welding AN fittings on there, if all you want to do is replace the regulator with an adjustable one accel makes a bolt on one, aeromotive does as well but i heard of leaking problems with those, if your past the point of a rail mount regulator your going to have to change the rails around anyway to support the fuel needs. heres how I did mine

Lightbulb no advertisement

I have a adjustable fuel pressure reg. and it attaches via an fitting and I was trying to show there are other ways other then cutting and welding. on monday I am going to order the part that fits on the fuel rail to do away with my non adjustable fuel pres reg. I have a 93 z. and also I saw they have a fitting for the feed line that also converts it over to an.

I spent about 4 hours on line trying to figure out a way to switch my fuel rail to an type fittings and yes I have emailed a bunch of you with some good replies , thank you mike

again there is a rail mounted accel adjustable regulator, if your to the point you need a diffrent regulator your past the point that the fuel rails can support with out being modified taking out the center tubes. only thing your doing is wasting money on something like that to say you have it. I made 400RWHP on stock rails and a accel regulator. anything past that and your past what the fuel rails could do thats why i changed mine around.

No need to get nasty. If you had explained what you were trying to do in the first post, people might have been able to help you, or understood what you were trying to explain.

For the record, FuelSystemParts is a part of the Full Throttle Speed site, which is an advertiser here.

I think the parts you were looking for are these:
http://www.fuelsystemparts.com/items~Cc~DSMFUFIT.htm

But they are DSM parts and I don't think they will work on an LT1 application, but you can always call and ask.
