dirty fuel line question

Hi, Im finally finished my 94 rebuild. Now im messing with the fuel system. The car has been sitting for 7 years with gas still in it. So, I pulled the tank cleaned it and replaced the fuel pump. Now I am wondring is there any way to clean the fuel lines running up to the engin bay? Maybe like pumping acetone through them? or would that damage the fuel lines. Or should I just forget about It because it should not be too big of a deal and just run clean gas through the lines?
Thanks Josh

I wouldn't put acetone in the fuel lines. Why not just use a bottle of fuel injector cleaner? You know that's designed to be harmless to the fuel lines, and to act as a solvent to the materials that would normally clog the fuel lines.

sounds like a good idea. I was just worried about the gas turning to sludge in the lines. Do you think that injector cleaner would be enough to get the job done?

If you use enough and do it correctly. You should be able to see what is coming out and stop when it appears to be clean.
