I have a 93 Corvette LT1. I have used this DELTEQ for many years, well over 10.
I had two extra opti brains, due to Pete or JC Hyde giving me one, and buying another system as a spare.
In regards to the opti brain/boxes. Is there anything that can read or test the circuitry within it?
On the Corvette, I was intermittently losing tach signal. Was happening whether cold or hot. Cleaned all connection's, Put it back together, still happening.
Put another opti brain in and problem went away..
The tach signal does zero processing in the Opti box, I think, as the signal goes through the opti box and out, on a bridged board internal to the box, as seen on the left of the picture. None of the posts on the left do anything inside the box with the board on the right.
Any help would be great, as I understand this forum dealt with it allot.. over the years.
