DELTEQ Opti Boxes interchangeable?

I am looking at getting a spare Opti box for my 93 LT1, and found a Opti box from a 94 LT1. Are they able to be swapped? The part numbers on DELTEQ's site is showing the same for both, but I know the ECMs are different etc.

well considering people with the earlier non vented opti's that came in the 93 and 94's swap out to the vented newer style without a problem i would guess you are okay.

however i have not been playing with the opti's enough yet to be 100 percent sure of that statement

I believe he is talking about the Delteq Opti Box or brain of the delteq setup not the Opti distibutor mounted on the motor. As to his question I think they are all the same, but I think the plugs to the ICM are a little different and you just need a new pigtail if you go with a differnt ICM, but should be ok with the Delteq box.

PS - Let me know if you get your hands on one and how much as I might try and do the same to have a spare incase mine takes a crap.
