Unhappy Delteq??

I have a Delteq on my car for over 2 years now. It's been very good, but lately I've been having a problem.

Can't seem to get ahold of JC at Delteq. I've left VM and EMail.

If Delteq isn't doing its thing anymore, is there some other support out there?

Note:

With the above link as a guide, I was able to isolate my intermittant outages in my Delteq system to the Opti-box.

R&R'd the entire coil-pack and ignition module. Rebuilt a few cable ends. (weak area of concern if on/off frequently). Also, don't buy from GM ($$$$$), go to a pick-n-pull and look for a northstar coil pack and snip the wiring harness where necessary.

Good For Sale section on this board..issued a WTB and got a good hit at good-buddy price. (Thanks BeaverTA for the cool pair of socks)

Put the opti-box on and it fired right up. My problem was only apparent when it got warmed up, then it started bucking and dying. Drove it around for an hour or so and runs good.

Also, since the Opti-box is prone to heat, I went to a local electronic hobby store and found a couple of small CPU heatsinks. They fit perfectly on both sides of the opti-box and snug tied with a tie-wrap. I bought a couple of longer bolts and the opti-box is mounted to my P1SC. It has the appearance, at least, that if might help keep it somewhat cooler.

During the recent non-driving period, I removed my bumper cover and had it refinished and repainted. It had spider cracks very, very bad. Chips, and a previous paintjob that was now very distinguishable. Also took the hood and had it touched up and polished. The two look great back on.

Oh and on a more technical note, if anyone has another way to scab the Northstar stuff onto the LT1, meaning if you know what magic goes on inside the Delteq module and want to share it, I'd probably be cheap/curious enough to give it a try...
