With the engine fully warmed up, for an A4 transmissions, in neutral 650rpm and in drive 550 rpm. An M6 is 800rpm.

its on the back side of the drivers side fuel rail. If its the stock one, it can't be adjusted.

Its controlled by vacuum, not by the computer. Why do you want to change it, is it bad?

i believe so because my car is not burning enough fuel and i pulled my spark plugs out the other day and they have black sutt on them and the plugs aren't even two months old. a mechanic a chevy told me it may be my regulator going bad to start their first so thats why im asking about this specific part.

The way you are describing the plugs, it sounds like the car is running rich. As for the fuel pressure regulator, there is a vacuum line that goes to it. Pull it off and see if there is fuel in the line, if so, then the fuel pressure regulator needs replacement. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a fuel pressure test on it.

From: Hell was full so they sent me to NJ
-faulty O2 sensors
-faulty O2 sensor wiring
-exhaust leaks before the O2 sensors
-excessive misfires
-excessive fuel pressure
-leaking fuel injectors
-leaking fuel pressure regulator

Before you do anything, check your fuel pressure. Should be in the range of 41-47psi at idle, with the vacuum lined off the fuel pressure regulator. You started out asking about the fuel pressure, and the regulator. It was suggested that you check the vacuum line. Did you check it, and what did you find? Its very hard to help you if you don't follow up on suggestions.
