looking to pick up an 82z28 locally with an lt1 swap. Talked to the guy and he said it basically sat for a year and a half, then went to start it and got nothing. sprayed fuel down the throttle bodies and it started briefly... checked fuel pressure and wasnt getting more than a drip. is this the sign of a bad pump? what should I look for? doesnt sound like it will be too expensive... but never know.

 

Can you hear the pump prime for a couple seconds when you turn the key on?

 

gonna check it out tomorrow. wasnt sure if the pump primed with the key on or not. I'll check it out. thanks.
