Whats better Speed Density or MAF

What better and easier to tune; Speed Density or MAF? I have a 93 camaro with speed density and a soon to be procharged 383. Should i convert it over to MAF or try to keep Speed Density. Would there if any be a great significance of MAF over S/D. Please fill me in thanks.

Thats a loaded question...

Maf usually gives better tuning options, better driveability, economy etc.... But the maf maxes out pretty easy.

A good speed density tune "can" run just as well but might require a bit more care to get right

I don't see a reason to switch in your case. I have been without a maf for over a year now and don't really miss the thing.

How much work goes into tuning a speed density car would it be something i could do with a tuner on a dyno, if so what tuner is the easiest to deal with?
