What kind of numbers?? Maxing out stock injectors using FMU
Hello,
How much power is possible out of the stock 24# injectors with an FMU?
I have been trying to slide by without tuning for quite some time now and have been very successful at making ~450rwhp with 7psi and the stock Vortech FMU setup.
For those who may have been there: What is really left in this type of stock tune? Can I continue to 'slide by' if I were to upgrade head units to make, say, 10-12# (a-trim to s-trim)? What are the limitations of the stock Vortech FMU (not sure of ratio), at what point are stock injectors typically static (open) and what are the consequences of running like this occasionally (streetcar)?
I realize I'm gunna take some heat on my train of thought here. I know everyone in their right mind will tell me to put in some injectors, get it tuned on a wide band and possibly swap the stock pump+T-rex for a single in-tank).
Guess I'm looking for who has stretched it the farthest

You are playing with fire. The stock injectors will eventually start locking close under higher fuel pressures. People who do this upgrade to Ford 24 lb/hr injectors because they don't have this problem.

60# injectors and dyno tune = $800
new shortblock = $4000
I agree with Mike, your playing with fire. If you are serious about upping the boost, pay the small $ for injectors and a tune or you will definitely be looking for a new motor.

Well, I think I realize that I need the proper fuel delivery system with the right tune to really gain from this point onward. I was hoping that someone may have backed my idea......but I've yet to find anyone!!!! So I will take the advise!
Thanks to all for the support and good luck on your projects
