Question What Blower cam?-not LT1

Hello everyone, my sig. says 224/236 cam but not so sure if that will work.
I have a new ZZ4 block (1pc, 4blt, roller cam) Eagle forged 3.75 crank Eagle 6" rods -16 cc SRP pistons, AFR 210 heads about 8.8 comp, 1.52 rr, TPIS miniram intake (very similar to LT1), 58mm tb, 83lb inj, Electromotive TEC2, 1-3/4" headers w/ 2-1/2" exhaust. I have a D1SC 12 rib w/7.65 & 3.4 pulleys maybe 12 psi?. Twin 255lph intank pumps. Transmission will be a PTS EXTREME 200-4r w/ a Vig 3,000 stall lockup conv., and A 9" rear w/ 3.70 gears. This is all going into my 69 Nova. The car will be used mostly on the street but will be raced too. My power goal is 500-600rwhp.

Any help would be appreciated! THANKS, Steve

Assuming that's a 114 LDA cam (you didn't say), and if the CR is really 8.8:1, that cam should be an adequate choice for your stated goals.

My question is the CR. 8.8:1 using a 16cc dish in a 383 takes a pretty big combustion chamber and or deck height... like 72 cc's and .020" or something in that neighborhood. Are you sure it's not higher than 8.8? Just make sure.

Sounds like a good combo to me for a street or street/strip car.

Re: What Blower cam?-not LT1

Thanks for the replies, The heads are 76cc chambers and yes the LDA will be 114+4. Would you recommend the high or low lift, and is the high lift hard on spring life? What kind of RPM range are you guys seeing with this cam?

Thanks again, Steve
