Eaton question

Where does the intake come out on a gen 3 supercharged 3.8 (98-present)?

Would the supercharger fit under the Camaros low windshield?

Re: Eaton question

I believe it comes out of the back of the blower (side on a transverse mounted engine). It's a horrible location for our cars because that places it under the cowl.

If you want to see a roots blower on an LT1, do a search for the M112 project that Rooster93V8 did. Looking at the blowers out there now, I would opt for the '03 cobra eaton blower because the intake is on the side, which would give you the least amount of height taken up by the blower.

Yeah, he is right. Plus, I don't know if the m90 would produce very much boost on a V8. There are fast cars running the stock style blower, but the fastest w-body cars have switched to turbo or a m112. That is on a v6 car, you should be moving more air. I think the m112 would be better suited. If I am not mistaken rooster93 was going to use one and then decided to go with the bigger m112.

Re: Eaton question

yeah. he was going to use an m90 and found a cheap m112...

I think he sees 9psi at all rpms when he has his foot in it. And I'm pretty sure he can pulley up from there.

With LT1 intakes being so cheap (and already having 2 spares), I'm waiting for the right deal on an '03 Cobra m112 and I'll give that a shot. I've been itching to do one ever since I saw rooster's... Until then, I'll stick with the centrifugal blower.

Re: Eaton question

You can get LT1 intakes for $50-75 a piece.
