Vortech Aftercooler

I was looking on the vortech website at superchargers and was looking at the sq trim. Is it worth it to spend the extra money to get the aftercooler with the vortech sq trim?

Are you running stock internals?? Also, how much boost are you looking to see? I would say IF you have the extra money it is worth it. Reliability is a little better with the Aftercooler. Also, any chance I could steer you towards an S trim??? You gotta let people hear that bitch!!!

Yes, it is worth the extra cash. Any FI car will benefit from an after/inner cooler setup. I had one on my s-trim and loved it, car didnt sag when it was hot. I wish I had it back.

The performance difference when my car is hot and cold is HUGE!!!!!! I need an inter/after cooler badly. The car feels a bit sluggish when it's hot and usually after a full WOT run the compressed air heat soaks the engine more and more. If you have the money, do it but I would not even think about going above 6# without one.

I will have forged internals running more than 6 psi so it looks like I should get the aftercooler too.
