Which type of ring tension should I use?

I'm rebuilding my motor to a 383. I plan on keeping my Powerdyne which is 9# and adding a 200 shot of NOS.

My question is what type of ring tension should I use, low, standard or high, also what brand do ya recommend?

I'll be using JE pistons.

Thanks,
Scott

Unless it's a max effort race motor, I'd say use the standard ring package from JE. If you are going to be using a lot of nitrous, JE also supplies a ring package specifically designated for use with nitrous. Your engine builder should check with them about any special finifh honing requirements related to these rings if you decide to use them.
