Get vortech if you wanna spend 3k for non-intercooled plus 1k for aftercooler. They are both about the same quality but the ati setup is 1k cheaper.

ATI Procharger is the best in my book, but Vortech makes a good product.

what about the old paxton superchargers (SN-93)? I've recently seen a few used kits surface... I've seen quite a few negative comments on them, but nothing specific as to failures, etc.

Is anyone on this board using one?

The paxton setups were prone to quality control issues. I have seen some work great while others have had some major issues with seals and bearing failers. I also believe paxton was brought out by Vortech a couple of months ago.

I have owned an ATI p600B, D1SC and now and F1. IMO if you are going to buy a smaller blower than I would go with a S-trim. My reasoning behind that is that every P1SC that I have seen leaks blower oil through the seals. ATI does not warranty it and it will cost you money out of your pocket to fix it. For larger blower I like ATI There is alot less modifications required to install an ATI F1 over a Vortech YS trim.

I like Vortech because of their impeller design and rock-solid reliability. Also, the "smaller blower" S-trim can supply enough air to run high 9's with off-the-shelf serpentine pulleys:

Vortech with Aftercooler is what I'm running and if I had to do it over again I would stick with the Vortech.
