twin turbo LT1

Ok I have a forged 383 that needs new pistons for boost, but maybe not. I am near 400rwhp or so now, but want to put a decent sized turbo on each side, probably one where the alternator is and one where the stock air pump is (or about there). I was wondering what kind of turbos I can find to start fabbing something up that would have about the flow I need. I dont really care about the initial hp increase because I will tune the hell out of this thing slowly but surely. My main question is how do you determine how much flow you need and what type of turbo is the right choice? Relatively small I am guessing, but maybe 600rwhp goal? I am afraid for my pistons after around 600rwhp.

thanks for any advice

Why go twin for such a modest hp level? 600rwhp could be achieved with a single T76 easily. Is it going to bea carshow type of thing?

no, i just always thought twins would be harder to mount so I wanted to try and make it harder on myself... where would you mount a single on an LT1? I have seen some exhaust manifolds that have twins, and only singles I see are the STS... I dont want my turbo in the rear.

WOW... EXXAAAAACTLY what I was looking for. Do you have a webpage with all the piping off the motor? Is it a bitch to get that off for plugs or anything like that? what problems have you run into with that... that is almost exactly what I was thinking except better placement on the driver side than I could fathom. Thanks for the reply!

see the link in my signature, twin master power 70mm turbos on custom made headers, 1-5/8" primaries, 2.5" slip fit merge collectors, dual 3" downpipes...required making my own accesory bracket, but the 100+mph burnouts make it all worth it...

So I assume then you got it running right? Weren't you having some trouble with the RPM pickup and the megasquirt? (I may have missed your updates on that)
