Turbo LT1 Cam

Turbo LT1 Cam
I need a cam specced out for the new bullet.
Engine is a 383, static CR ~9.5, stock castings ported to flow 263/206, single plane with a elbow and 90mm TB. Will be a front mount pt76gts turbo, larger intercooler and meth.
Goal is max power round 6000-6200, shift round 6400 area. (MVB TH400)
A real popular cam spec for turbo builds seem to be these...
224/224 .573/.565 114 LSA
Or, step up to this size
224/236 114 +0 (.605/.593)
Or, a mix of the two, so like a 224/230, or a 230/230
Lobes will most likely be XFI, or XE if I have to, pretty sure springs/lifters can handle the ramp rates fine.

Re: Turbo LT1 Cam
I have a CC turbo specific cam that is much like your first one.
In a naturally aspirated/N20 incarnation, I had the 224/236, albeit with a 112 LSA.
For my daily driver/freeway assassin Turbo setup, the cam gives me the best of all worlds. Drives like a bone stock LT1 in Houston, Summer, bumper to bumper traffic, yet murders everything I've ran(GT500's, non-Liter Sportbikes, EVO's, Turbo Neons, Subaru WRX/STI, Cobras, Vettes, Fbodies). My freeway mileage from Albany to Rochester (contract work) is 20+ miles per gallon with the M6, 3.55 gears.

Re: Turbo LT1 Cam
I had a 224/236-114 "SC" cam in my turbo LT1. I listened to all the hype about "turbo cams" and bought into it. I installed a 226/226-114 in the same motor and it turned into a slug. I wound up putting the 224/236 back in it and got all my power back. Sure am glad I didn't go reverse split...

Re: Turbo LT1 Cam
Mike, do you still have that cam card around for your 224/236? I had a Nitrous Xtreme iteration of the CC224/236 and it had a sexy choppy idle. It (and a 100 shot) sent my otherwise N/A 355 cubed, 3.42 geared, 2800 stalled TH350, 3650lb car to a 11.1 @121mph using ET streets on salad shooters w/1.6 sixty foot. The lift on that was only .57x from what I remember and had a 112 lsa.
