T Bolt clamps
T Bolt clamps
Looking to redo some stuff and get rid of my worm style clamps for some nicer T bolts clamps. The web site isn't very descriptive on the diameter, all they say is 4inch, 3.5 inch and 5 inch. Now my question is, is that the maximum diameter of the clamp before tightening? Is so, then should I be ordering a clamp .5 inch larger or the size of the the tubbing I need to clamp? Also what size T bolt clamp does the Throttle Body use?
Thanks, that helps a lot. The place I was looking at didn't have any thing really mentioned just the inch size, not the expanded or contracted sizes. That site pretty much says to a 1/4 inch larger to compensate for the coupler.

I have used the $10 clamps from burns stainless and I have used the ebay clamps from just intercoolers or ETD motors.
the burns where 3.5" to fit over the pipe and silicon couplers...the ebay clamps said 3" and they fit fine...as for the price...the cheaper ebay clamp had a tabs on the side that keep the clamp from walking when you really crank on them... the high price clamp didnt have that feature.I found that interesting
I wont be buying the $10 ones anymore as its not needed and no real quality difference
