Is it tuneable and safe?

I was considering going speed density Thanks

 

If you can use an aftermarket PCM with 2bar capabilties yes it is safe.

If you can get a crank trigger on the car and use a 7749 PCM you could do it as well.

Other wize, stock 93 pcm in my opionion you MUST run a FMU for driveablity etc... see the post FMU Deletion or something along those lines

 

With my limited and minimal knowledge on the subject of tuning, I believe I saw that you can disable the use of the MAF sensor with LT1_edit and force the PCM to run using speed density.

I've also heard that tuning for speed density is much more difficult than when using the MAF.

 

Its not so bad, if you get the hang of it you'll be surpised how easy and straight forward it is

I love speed density!

 

I run a accell gen vii in speed density mode...I picked up 2-3 psi of boost from deleting my maf meter and the car idles better (no more surge).
