sc car in over my head????

I am throwing around the idea of buying this car (description below), I orignally wanted to get into my motor and do a heads and cam but this came up and for the money he is asking compared to whats in the car I am really thinking about it. I just wanted some opinions on the car. Obviously it has all high end parts on it and the only weak part i can see is the stock rear end. I live in cali so it will need to be smogged, of course the headers and ignition will be handled but what about the cam. its a custom blower cam smaller so i dont think it will be a problem. I am new to blowers and look at this as a learning project. I have been doing lots of reading and know how much money these setups can end up costing although it looks like most of the investment has already been made. Currently there are some header leaks, either intake or leaky valve covers and some venting needs to be done in the engine. I guess the fuel rails get really hot with the large fuel system.

here is the info on the car

Well, it's got some decent parts. Not top of the line, but decent. Obviously, I have no idea what condition it's in. The CF driveshaft is a POS and I wouldn't trust it. And the CF clutch doesn't have the greatest rep either, though a clutch going out doesn't take other stuff with it like a DS can. It all comes down to price and condition. I don't know much about CA emissions, but from what I have heard passing with the cam seems possible, though it may require a special tune.

A blower car will have a lot more potential than a heads/cam car, especially when it has to pass emissions and run on crap gas like you have in CA!
