Pistions and heads need replaced

okay i pulled the motor apart and two of the pistions so far are messed up and my guess is from the antifreeze since there was TONS of it in the heads.

i also will need new motor bearing.

now i don;t race my car at the track or anything so i'm looking to get some pistions that are blower pistions and are good quality but not something thats going to kill me in the price for all 8.. also what type of motor bearing do i get?

Wiseco makes some decent blower pistons at a moderate price.

Re: Pistions and heads need replaced

It's based on your desired compression ratio. If you REALLY don't plan on more than 8psi you can get away with ~9:1. Use a compression ratio calculator like this one http://www.rosspistons.com/calculator.php
