I'm not sure what it's like in California, but I have a race-car exemption for emissions testing in Illinois. (It doesn't effect how the car is registered).

My car made 614rwhp @11psi.

I ran that boost level with 93 octane all the time.

My compression ratio is 9.2-1. I think with around 8.5-1 650rwhp on 93 octane would be no problem. More cubic inches would help make the most power on pump gas as well.

You would still need to have a good fuel system, along with a F.A.S.T. or DFI for engine management.

Interesting to hear from the 'other side'. Yeah, it is a great looking system... can't wait for the dyno numbers!!
