O-ring

Hi, I'm new to this site and to blowers. I was wonder which is better O-ringing the heads or the block? I'm running a 355 small block chevy with a 174 blower at 10 pounds of boost, plus i have a 150 shot of NOS on top that i havnt used yet. I plan on going to 16 pounds of boost as soon as i can keep head gaskets on it.

Thanks

Searching is boring...

Oring the head and the block if u cna afford it. 16 lbs with nitrous......ull appreciate it. Get some copper gaskets and steel orings, youll be happy.

Well i really dont feel like pulling the motor back out to have the block done, thats why i was wondering if doing just the heads will hold and what gaskets to use?

Thanks

Well you can just machine the heads for o rings and youll be fine...and running copper gaskets on the streeet are fine as long as u use a good gasket dressing...never had a problem.
