o-ring for water pump and opt

I just got my new GM water pump and GM opt. I have the two gaskets for the water pump. Are the o-rings that are on the new water pump and opt are they the ones that seal the timing chain cover from leaking or do I need more o-ring?

Thanks

P.S. Thanks Jason for the great price and fast shipping.

The water pump o-rings help secure the drive coupling and keep gunk out of it.

The opti o-rings seem to serve to stabilize the drive mechanism as it sits inside the camshaft hole and don't appear to be for oil control.

None of the o-rings seal anything on the timing cover. The round seals on the cover do that.

Thanks Shoebox.

So do I need to get the seals for the timing cover? I have two dime size oil drop in the front of the motor and I have replaced the intake gasket and that fixed the big dip at the back of the motor.

Thanks
