New LTX twin turbo kit coming soon
New LTX twin turbo kit coming soon
Good morning guys.
I have not been a member here all that long but I am a LTX
lover and you guys have helped me a great deal with little odd and ends.
Now the reason for this post.
I have been developing a twin turbo kit for over a year
and it’s due for release buy March.
I have been working on the LS based F-Body, but 95%
of the kit will fit the LTX cars. The only changes that need to be made, that I am sure of are motor mounts and headers.
After I get the LS kit up and rolling I will put my 96T/A under the knife and make the parts needed for the LTX cars. This will be mid to late summer this year.
The main focus of the kit was to leave the stock cooling system front fascia AC system and accessories untouched.
The kit will accept twin tangical t4 housing turbos,
with a 60 series compressor cover. The TC78 and 76
that you guys run as a single now can be had as twins!
Or you can run the T4 with an E compressor cover.
60 comp cover = 4” inlet 2½ outlet.
E comp cover = 3” inlet 2 outlet.
The kit will be supplied with a new MSD starter, K member, motor mounts, A/W intercooler system, and piping.
To sum it up the kit will have the potential to make
1500+ FWHP and retain all the car’s stock amenities
and appearance.
If you open your hood, the only thing you will see is the cold
side pipe going to the TB, other than that it looks stock under the hood.
These kits will be sold through a retailer that will offer turbo-sizing help
and other tech.
I know you guys have a turbo kit vender that has offered outstanding service
and a good product. “RealQuick”
I am not here to run anybody down or talk bad about another vender.
I will offer info and you will be the judge if it is right for you.
I cannot get this close to a LTX kit and not offer one.
I tried contacting the site mods here through the link
provided about advertising, but one of the required fields
was a web site, which I do not have at this time.
There is a thread on Tech with pic’s and info about the kit.
Out of respect for the paying venders and mods, I am not going to post the link.
Please no PM’s about this. I am just trying to get a feel for the LTX market.
If the mods approve, all Q’s will be answered publicly.
If a mod could PM me with what I need to do to post pic’s and detailed info
I would appreciate it.
Thanks for your time.
Chris

Re: New LTX twin turbo kit coming soon
Look forward to seeing your progress, and pictures. I'm not in any position to be putting money down on a system at this time, but I like knowing that people are still working on the LTX engines.
