Nice! Very nice!

Question? Why did you decide to go with the standard
tranny with that killer setup?

Nice set up man... now the question is how much $$$$?

Also where are you getting the cog drive for your D1SC? Once again pics of the air/water intercooler would rock!!!!

Re: motor for boost and N2o

1. Cog drive = bad idea unless it's a race car only.
2. The injectors may not be big enough.
3. You will need one hell of an exhaust system to avoid choking it off at that end.
4. The CR may be too high to run on pump fuel with that much boost, you should consider water/alcohol injection as an anti-detonation strategy if you are planning on running pump gas.
5. You will need a custom air intake for the SC to see 17-19psi. Even with one, the D1 may not flow enough air to see that kind of boost depending on the rev range you plan to operate in. One of the other problems with a cog is the limited number of belt lengths available will in turn limit the pulley combinations you can use.
6. What are the specs on the "Eliminator" pump? You will need a hell of a lot fuel for this kind of combo.

Re: motor for boost and N2o

I'm going to be running a 383 with a D1 but without the n2o. I don't expect to see 600rwhp so I was wondering if a single walbro intake fuel pump along with 42lbs injectors would cut it?

I think they will be too small.

Okay what would be a good fuel pump and injector combination for 600rwhp?

Re: motor for boost and N2o

The pump, if it's a 255lph should be big enough if it gets enough voltage. With an AFPR you can get away with ~50-55lb injectors and the pressure cranked up.
