The problem is the driver side . I've removed the oil filter , stering linkage , removed valve cover and the motor is raised on the driver side . Ihave the hooker Lt's now it seems the supercharger is preventing it from sliding in . I have debated on removing the supercharger , is there an easier way or do you have to remove the supercharger . Any help is appreciated

On my 96 SS with the S-trim, I didn't have to remove the supercharger for the Hooker LT. Did you remove the #1 tube on the LT?

 

sure did . Did you go from the top or bottom?By the way is you're camaro green sitting up at forcefed?

 

The green SS at FFP was mine. I was having it dyno tune, but we went into some problems with five of the injectors shooting wrong which are all resolve now. So another dyno tuning session should complete it.

We didn't even take out the steering linkage and the header slip in from the bottom. It went in pretty easy.

 

you should have to remove the steering linkage. blower shouldn't have anything to do with it either.. go from the bottom

the blower doesn't have to come out at all. I would go ahead and unbolt the other motor mount and raise the motor evenly on both sides. make sure the car is pretty high off the ground and it should go in from the bottom. the linkage doesn't have to be taken out, but i too removed the oil filter.
