Hey Gary, I have Oliver Billet 6.0 rods in my 383cid. I paid lots of $$ and now its painfull to read these posts. I will get Procharger soon, and its my DD car. What issues can I have ??

Again, not an issue. Your combo is obviously assembled around the rods, assembled well, and up and running. No big deal. My point was, if you spend an additional amount on something that will see virtually no gain on the street, why bother? Bragging rights I 'spose. In regards to the 'canbaufo' remark, anything FI requries the main focus be on durability first. If it makes more power for a short time, will that be more important than 5-10 HP less but last for as long as you care it to? My posts were not intended to scare anyone. I (usually) prefer to be as practical as possible in my decision making.

You'll be fine. It's a dd car, you're probably not going to be running around with 800 hp and 18# of boost are you? If you build a purpose-built blower engine, there might be a different path for you that would be better, but I bet you will love that 383 on mild boost, and if you keep it out of detonation, it should be fine, keeping in mind whatever your compression is.

The real reason that I want FI is, to get more drivability. My current setup is N/A and my cam specs are 240/246dur. Its not really funny while I drive everyday (shaking, rough idle etc.) . I want a very small cam (224/236), and want to make bigger power. (My bottom and can handle, so why not?)

Kevin: 550rwhp is enough for me. So #12 will be the max boost.
