Leaking front seal: ATI big block damper

Guys,

I'm having a little trouble with a leaking front seal on my car. I'm wondering if any of you have found a better quality seal than the typical napa seal that is recommended. This is my second leaky front seal in less than a year. The second time I polished the surface with 400 grit sandpaper and used wheel grease on the seal. It failed too. Any ideas.

This is the ATI "big block" hub that is designed for blower applications and requires machining the front cover for a bigger than stock seal.

****, not what I want to hear. I've got a big block hub and modified timing cover waiting to go on, pretty sure I used the same seal
