TS-230XL 230/242 duration, .544"/.576", 114lsa

I'll probably have it ground on a 116lsa instead of the 114lsa.

How much more power do you think the 116lsa will have over the 114lsa?

It will likely make a few less hp but have better manners with the 116lsa vs. the 114.

What rpm do you think the cam will peak at with 190cc LT1 fully ported heads?

I really don't want to take the motor past 6500 rpm. Would this cam be a better choice: TS-227XR 227/239 duration, .560"/.577", 114lsa

Will either of these two cams make more than the low lift 224/236 114lsa cam?

The two cams are quite close but I prefer the shorter duratio/higher lift combination if you are willing to run enough spring to handle the more aggressive lobes. I would expect a peak lower than 6,500, so no worries there.

Ground on a 116lsa, i suspect 6000-6200rpm peak...

Thank you for the answers.

Will these two cams make more power than the low lift 224/235 114lsa cam?

Rich, the 227/239 cam mentioned above. How would the power compare to the high lift version of the 224/236 cam?

Again, these are all going to be pretty similar. The high lift XE lobes need a lot of spring and such, most peple are going to be better off with the lower lift lobes. Are you willing to invest in a good set of springs, pushrods, and titanium retainers?

Will CC918's handle either one of those cams?

I think 116 lsa is too wide.. 114 or 115 would be my choice..

My 4th cam. Cammotion... 231/240 I/E with .538/ .558 I/E on 110 deg and 114 LSA. From Cam motion. I like the high rpm cam. 3K to 6.5k range. I'm running with afr 190's and the hydra rev kit. The hydra rev helps control valve float @ 6K+ rpm. Not that bad @ idle 1100rpm. I did notice better breating as my manifold boost pressure dropped. Thinking of spinning the ati faster (3.4 pulley) due to lower pressure.
