I wouldn't personally..The cooler doesn't look very tall and I'm sure the paint isn't helping the heat exchange. Adding a small intercooler isn't going to much except add restriction to your intake ducting. It will get heat soaked quickly and do nothing to help you.

I still recommend just getting a 4" core 3" in/outlet from ebay. It will come with a variety of piping and couplers to get it all connected. You will have to cut a few pieces to make it all work but getting a kit from an Integra you might be able to use a pipe of two but still end up having to piece together something. The Ebay kit should have almost everything you need.
