How much SC IC boost can a stock ls1 take?

You can pick up a used LS6 intake for around 350 and unless you are running a ton of boost will take anything you can through at it. Check the LS1teck classifieds. I just picked one up for 325 shipped.

I was just wondering if an ls1 had more boost friendly pistons or something that allowed it to handle more boost than the lt1. I guess it doesn't, what a shame. The new one probably doesn't either.
