how much hp with 50#ers ?

whats the max HP supported by 50#ers on boost ?

what if i put up the pressure to about 60 psi ?

i think i've been talked out of running and FMU . so im trying to figure out what i can get away with with 50#ers

I hear most guys here can run in the Mid 500 RWHP with 50s but then they start to lean out. I have heard of a FEW cases with some folks running upto 600RWHP with just 50s and no superfueler or FMU. I am sure some folks will Jump in here and give you more specifics.

I am currently running 50#ers with no problems (see sig for more details) but I have not had the car on the Dyno yet but I am only shooting for around ~450RWHP and wanted more room for HP growth later on.

Thx,
Claude

I hit 567rwhp on my before they gave up the good fight....they are forsale right now as well if you would like them.

This was on a Mustang Dyno...no FMU, ATI car.

If you plan on going with 50lb injectors then I would highly recommend staying away from MSD injectors. They tend to stick at high fuel pressure.

Somewhere around 500-550rwhp. DO NOT exceed ~80% duty cycle, going lean on a boosted motor is a major no-no.

I would recommend a sieman injector. Very good quality! I guess im playing with fire, but I have been running them in the 95% duty cycle range for about a month. I would like to keep them around 80% but there is not a decent injector with the size to suit my needs.

The MSD's in my car did just fine until they hit 90-100% duty cycle. I do agree, I wouldn't run them with a FMU though...but I don't have one on my car and they work just fine with a base pressure of around 45 (hits 60psi under full boost).

Well..They were good for around 500rwhp... after that I am using an FMU, but funny thing is that I have not had any problems with them and 60-62psi of fuel pressure... I start at 55psi and with boost they rise till 62... Maybe I can lower the pressure since I ahve an FMU with 3 96# that will really help when I need it.. I expect more fuel need since I changed the plate on the superfueler and now my superfueler has a bar with 10 holes in it

I just dont get how the mustang people get 600s+ with theese injectors...
