50# injectors for ATI D1SC OBDII to OBDI

I was told from from the place I am bought my ATI D1SC from that I am going to have trouble using my 50# injectors with my OBDII setup. They recommended converting to OBDI and when I need to go through inspection disconnect the supercharger, put the stock injectors back on and my OBDII PCM. I was told there are resistors in the OBDII PCM for the injectors and 50#ers can burn them up. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I can tell you that after having my car personally "street" tuned by Brian at PCMforless on my OBD1, My car idles great and runs fine. I still get like 14MPG in City Driving and about 17-18 on the Highway. Look at the link in the sig for full mod details. Since you are close by, you should do what I did. After your blower is on there, drive it up to Reading PA with the stock injectors on it Without beating on the car at all then when you get there, pull the stock injectors off and stick the 50# ers on. Then have Brian go at it. You can also get a OBD1 PCm from him too. Trust me when I say he does great work. I have also heard that the OBD2 PCM is not so Friendly with 50# injectors but I dont have any problems with by OBD1 car.

Hope that helps,
Claude
