My stock motor died after a year of 4-5 lbs. These motors were not built for boost.

lol, What was your first clue?

It not so much finding the limits of the stock motor or whatever, people rarely break motors with mild boost. It's the detonation hammering the bearings or pistons. Personally my tired motor spun a bearing after a year of the turbo. I presume it was from all the small ammounts of knock retard here and there that finally hammered the bearings.
