Whats the RPM u spin to?

Just wondering lol

 

6000-6300 rpm.

 

6300 on stock motor.

 

-6250 rpm or so - it's a 383 with 6" rods, 9:1 15#

 

7,000 RPM in 4th at the track. My blower maxes out at 6750, so normally I shift around there.

Fully built and forged 383 (the only way to go FI).

 

6800 rpm approx. -383 with 6" rods right around 9.3:1 compression 6lbs. of boost

 

6,200 rpm. With the pulley combination I'm running on my Vortech S Trim this is the max rpm for the supercharger.

 

6400 rpm for me. Could spin it to 6800 but not really necessary. Scary fast is it is.

 

6,200 to 6,400 for me.

 

shift at 6,600 traps 6,800 at 153.

 

Mine was a diesel like 5800-6000 rpm, 401' dart sbc. Mild heads/cam. Now its got huge heads and cam and I will likely take it to 6800, maybe 7K but thats gonna be pushing it. Cam and heads with the turbos holding power up top may have power go to 7500+. I hope not. Else the smaller housings are going back on to choke it down under 7K lol
