This may be a stupid question, but how do you visually tell the difference between the vortech head units? The tags only tell the version.

If I remember right, the S-trim has a 3.5" hose inlet on the compressor, and the T-trim is 3.75".

Thanks alot engineermike. According to a Mustang forum that I pulled up you are correct. I just came back on here to answer my own post for future members. That is apparently the only way, other than measurments and calling Vortech with the serial number, to visually tell the difference.

just wanna update this. i dont think the inlet maters. mine is a 3.5". that would mean i have a S-trim. the model number on the supercharger says V-1. that means i have a T-trim.

V-1 covers multiple trim types. If you have a 3.5" inlet, you don't have a T-trim. If its stamped V-1 on the id tag and has a 3.5" inlet, then it's either an S-trim or SC trim.
