hey, been thinkin what it would take to put an old holley or b&m or something roots style blower ontop of an lt1. cover up the distributor hole, keep the rad hose going to the waterpump if you left all the sensors, and opti, and just run a carb it should work i think.. or even machine holes for injectors.

or what about shave an lt1 manifold down a bunch, and use that as the blower manifold, anyone done this before?

 

This has been done, the stock intake was modified to be the blower intake for an eaton style roots blower, not exactly what you're talking about, but pretty damn close. Do a search in the forced induction section for roots blower.
