Fuel Pump Question

On a intercooled S/C 383 running at 15+psi, and a 150 shot what would be a good fuel pump and injector size to run? Also what kind of ignition would be needed to see full potential of power?

I would highly recommend doing a search on this subject or you can wait for Rskrause to chime in.

>give Jack at www.racetronix.com a ring he's very knowledgeable
since he does that for a living ... after all he's a sponsor .
I will tell you what I run :
I have a LT1 (396) with 83# injectors using LJs Impedance converter , MSD boost a pump with their 6AL and boost retard controller . This is with the Vortech T-trim and 75 shot N2O .
as for the fuel pump I used : http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix..._Pump_Kit.html

I hope this helps and I didn't leave anything out .

I used a 255lph Bosch in-tank with a Kenne Bell "Boost-a-Pump" and stock lines/regulator for a 733rwhp boost + nitrous combo and had a 11.8-12:1 AF ratio on nitrous. But it was maxed out. When I went for a more powerful setup I did a twin external pump system that I can give you the details on if you like.

You will need big injectors. I am running LJ's impedance converter and 90lb'ers. They are probably overkill but it idles fine with them. The WOT duty cycle is ~70%. So that's my advice in that regard.

I have no apparent ignition problems with an MSD box, Optispark, Accel coil, and stock wires. I am using very cold plugs (an 11 heat range) and have had no fouling problems.
