fuel pump ?

fuel pump ?

is a fuel pump absoultly needed for the STS kit? im gonna be running 5psi and bigger injectors but im runnin low on money and there is a good chance im out of a garage real soon. how bad would be running it on the stock pump. i heard it'll be fine with 5lbs

Should be fine. I ran stock pump N/A up to 383rwhp. My 24# injecotrs had a duty cycle of 113% though. If you can afford an fmu or bigger injectors then I suspect the stock pump will be fine for your mild setup.

ya jon the car is gonna get 42lbs injectors. problem now is we are gonna be renting the house out that the car is at, so if they find someone im kind of screwed so this project that wasnt in any kind of a rush is coming along faster then i thought. the hardest part left is fixing the intake manifold leak.

nope not yet, i think i might just go with tunercat, its alot cheaper and i can let other people used it, potential to make some money back. how bad is the intake manifold to pull off and replace gaskets/RTV????

3hr job...but the silicone has to cure for atleast 12 hours. I try for 24hrs.

ya car wont move for atleast 24hours, i dont want to do it again. also gonna try to wrap the egr tube in heat wrap, or i might just block it off.
